Our toddler shells classified cards set consists of 18 high quality images isolated on a white background.
The shells featured are a selection that might be commonly found on many beaches in Aotearoa New Zealand. These cards would be a wonderful resource to use for shell identification at the beach as well as in the home or community environment.
The shells we photographed were collected at Ōrewa estuary/beach in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland - we collected, photographed and returned the shells to Papatūānuku and we encourage you to also leave shells you observe at the beach you discover them on.
Cards are 10cm x 14cm - a lovely size for toddlers to handle.
The images are in proportion to each other.
Instructions for printing and making up the cards are included in your PDF file.
