Our workshops are fun-filled experiences for you and your child that offer practical help and build your confidence in fostering your child’s life-long curiosity.
Classes
We facilitate Parent and Infant Classes and Parent-Toddler Classes based on Dr. Maria Montessori and Dr Emmi Pikler’s peaceful approaches and inspired by New Zealand’s Pennie Brownlee’s “Dance with me in the Heart” book and training.

Aroha Nui Montessori is a place where parents can come with their infant and toddler for classes and workshops, to learn, to share and to connect with other parents and to embrace the wonder their child is.
Our philosophy is inspired by the works of Maria Montessori and Emmi Pikler, and guided by research from Joseph Chilton Pearce, pioneers in respectful and kind parent and infant relationships.

A magical start
The relationship is all that matters. And it starts at birth. The most important you have is to grow a healthy working partnership with your baby, a partnership where you and your baby work as one.
Getting to know you
This first relationship between your and your baby is all. It sets the scene for every other relationship which will follow. The quality of the First Relationship actually determines how the brain physically ‘wires up’ the potential your baby brings into the world. The better that relationship is the better your baby’s chances for the rest of her life.
